Believe!  Achieve!  Succeed!

My name is Lori Dawson.  I can be found wearing several different hats at any given time during the day!  I am a stay-at-home mom of a beutiful daughter, a wife, a friend of many, a daughter, a sister, a small business owner, a woman who enjoys her freedom, a dog owner, a choco-holic,....the list is absolutely endless! 

I consider each day a blessing as I wake up and enjoy the flexibility to be home with my children, attend all their sporting events and special occasions while contributing to our family income.  I am experiencing the best of both worlds!

But it hasn't always been this way.  Like many families, I worked a traditional 9-5 in corporate America.  I left work early in the morning, placed my children in the care of the daycare facility and began my long commute to work.

While I always considered myself to have been fortunate to have had a career, I secretly had dreams of owning my own business and being able to enjoy the many freedoms that come with working at home.

However, I didn't really know where to begin.  Starting a traditional business was quite costly and I didn't want to go into debt and face the potential risk involved during that time in my life.  This is when the real fun began!

I started investigating various companies, direct sales and network marketing communities and searched for something that was a right fit for me.  I discovered a huge network of people from all walks of life that wanted to achieve financial success and dared to dream they could achieve that goal.  I began surrounding myself with like-minded people who wanted more for their family, believed in themselves and never allowed anyone else to rob them of that dream.

More than anything else, I knew I wanted to stay home with my children to cheer them on as they reached those important milestones in their lives.  I wanted to share in every "once in a life time moment" and provide them with the warmth and security of having me home for them when they got home from school. 

With this goal in place, I was determined to find a way to work from home, earn a reliable income and model for my children what it means to work smart while enjoying the many possibilities life has to offer. 

I made a commitment to educate myself on the opportunities and resources available to me, make a selection based on my research and what would work well for my family, while applying the time, dedication and perseverance necessary to achieve the incredible lifestyle we desired. 

I investigated several home based business opportunities and even tried a few with moderate success.  Looking back, I can only be thankful for the experiences I had because I have only become a better leader and mentor as a result.  This eventually lead me to the right company for me, find the right leadership and communities, build a successful business from home and teach others how to do the same.

I discovered how much fun it is to own my own time again and reap the benefits of working from home.  Owning my own business from home has empowered me to take control of my time, make decisions based on my values rather than a lack of finances, and design a lifestyle that demonstrates success.  Working at home has provided me with a wealth of ongoing personal growth, development and education and has given me the opportunity to enhance the lives of others by showing them how they can achieve their dreams by establishing their own business.
